I am the American Dream.

Not because life has been easy, or because I was handed anything, but because I’ve seen firsthand what resilience, grit, and faith can do. My story starts with my dad, who crossed the border from Mexico to build a better life. He worked long hours, sacrificed comfort, and carried the weight of hope on his shoulders. My mom grew up in a rough environment, fighting through challenges that would have broken most people. Together, they raised me with one clear belief: if you work hard, take care of your family, and never stop believing in people, anything is possible.

That belief is the heartbeat of Elko Productions.

When my wife Liz and I started this company, we didn’t set out to make “just another video production company.” We wanted to build something different. Something rooted in the idea that stories—real, raw, human stories—are powerful enough to move people, shift culture, and create change. We chose the name “Elko” because years ago, as missionaries in a small town in Nevada, that’s where we first saw how much storytelling and service can shape lives.

Today, we partner with nonprofits, purpose-driven organizations, and impact-driven businesses across the DMV (Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington DC). What we do is simple: we capture the stories of everyday heroes and bring them to life through cinematic, documentary-style video production. From pre-production and interviews to state-of-the-art editing, we take care of every step—so our clients can focus on their mission while we focus on their story.

But for us, it’s not just about cameras, edits, or polished visuals. It’s about heart. It’s about believing in the people behind the story and amplifying their impact so more people can see what’s possible.

I carry my family’s journey with me in every project we take on. Their story is proof that dreams are real, that communities can lift each other up, and that change starts with people who care enough to take action. That’s why we do what we do.
